What is the difference between a Beauty and a Boudoir shoot?
We are aware that boudoir photography isn’t for everyone, as not every woman feels comfortable enough to be photographed in their lingerie or wearing fewer clothes than they are used to. A Beauty photo shoot is all about feminine posing resulting in fashion style contemporary portraits, but with your clothes on.
We liken our boudoir shoots to a sophisticated lingerie fashion shoot. A boudoir shoot isn’t all about being overly-sexy, it’s about you looking and feeling amazing about yourself and whether that is in a seductive corset or a vest and pants set, the choice is yours.
What both types of shoots have in common, is that they are an experience, time out for yourself, and for some women, confidence building. We are all individual and your shoot will reflect this – we don’t have a set number and type of poses that we use on everyone. We’re happy to chat and answer as many questions that you have about your shoot, and are more than happy to meet up for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine if you’re nearby.
What happens at a CocoonPhotography Photo Shoot?
While your hair and make-up is being expertly styled by our professional artist, you can relax with a glass or two of Prosecco and some nibbles. We’ll go through our digital ‘look book’ with you to pick out some poses that you like.
We will guide you through your experience, showing you the best poses for your body shape and how to achieve the images you desire.
Before Your Photo Shoot
Once you’ve booked your photo shoot, we’ll send you our suggestions leaflet to help you prepare for your shoot, together with some fabulous offers from our ‘Photography Spa’ friends.
After Your Photo Shoot
Our favourite images will be fully edited for you and uploaded to a private online gallery, which will be available for four days for you to choose your images for your album. We’ll also invite you to return to the studio to see your images on our big screen whilst enjoying a glass of fizz.
